Crassula falcata

Crassula falcata

Generally speaking, Crassulas are not renowned for large or showy flowers. C. falcata is a bit of an exception however. Its large head of small but very bright red flowers is a striking sight. This plant, from the Cape of Good Hope, produces pairs of interesting grey-green leaves, but it is when it flowers in mid summer that it looks its best.
