Sesuvium sp.
Away from its family's usual habitat of Southern Africa, Sesuvium is a member of the Mesembryanthemum family which is endemic to the Galapagos Islands. | |
Two species of Land Iguana (Conolophus sp.) are
found in the Galapagos. Their food includes grazing on the Sesuvium plants
and also eating fallen pads from the Opuntia cacti.
