Selenicereus
These plants have long, narrow, fast growing stems
which are not very exciting, but their flowers are something else. Night
opening, most close after just a single night (the one pictured is an exception
to this rule), but at up to 12" (300mm) in diameter and accompanied by
a strong fragrance they make a wonderful sight.
