Schlumbergera

Schlumbergera flowerThe "Christmas Cactus" is now accepted to be Schlumbergera, but many plants (usually the form with toothed leaf segments) are still seen for sale under the name Zygocactus. The true species S. bridgesii, which comes from the mountains of eastern Brazil, has been eclipsed by the many hybrid forms now in cultivation.
