	The primary purpose of this site is to provide information about the BCSS Teesside Branch, particularly:- a description with photographs of who we are and the sort of events and activities we organise an up-to-date version of our current programme a map of where we meet a "Headlines" feature which provides a look ahead to our next few events. 	In addition, particularly for the benefit of those new to growing these fascinating plants, the site also contains:- basic cultivation advice for several types of plants various picture galleries a selection of useful links to other related sites

Links at the foot of each page will help you navigate to related pages. To visit a different part of the site, simply return to the site map and click on the feature you wish to visit. To assist navigation, Teesside Branch features are denoted by red text on the map, other information pages are denoted in blue. Click the logo at the top of this page to proceed to the site map.

Please note : For optimum viewing this site was originally designed to be viewed at 800 x 600 screen resolution. However, as technology has advanced increasingly computers now display at 1024 x 768 or greater and users of these machines were starting to find some of the images rather small. Consequently, the site is being gradually modified to suit these higher resolutions. This is an extremely time-consuming process so your patience is requested - the remainder of the photo galleries will be updated in due course. A minimum of 65,000 (65K) colours is recommended to ensure picture clarity and minimise the risk of the background colours becoming intrusive.
